BoneBook's session packages are bundles of sessions of one service (from 2 to 100) that you sell at a set price, with an optional expiry. Gift cards are a balance of a fixed or free amount, valid for a number of months. You sell them online, if you have payments switched on, or in person. The client gets a code and uses it when booking: the sessions or the balance are deducted automatically and you can see what's left. It's on every plan.

Choose the service, the number of sessions, the price and the expiry. For gift cards, the amounts and the validity.

The client buys them on your page, if you have online payments switched on, or you hand them over at the counter.

They're spent when booking
The client enters their code when booking and the session or balance is deducted. You can see what's left at any time.

Full or partial balance
The gift card is spent when booking, in full or in part, or redeemed in person. If the appointment is cancelled, the balance goes back.
Control of what's left
You can see how many sessions each client has left and the balance on each gift card.
How each business uses it
Laser hair removal
The clinic sells a package of 6 laser sessions for legs with a 12-month expiry. The client books each session with her code and sees how many she has left.
Massage
Before Christmas, the studio sells €40 and €60 gift cards from its page. Whoever receives one uses it when booking their massage.
Personal trainers
The trainer sells packages of 10 sessions. Each booking deducts one, and there's no need to keep count by hand.
Included in all plans
Session packages and gift cards are on every plan, from Starter (€29/month incl. VAT). To sell them online you need online payments with Stripe switched on; in person you can always sell them.

What is a session package?+

How do I sell gift cards online?+
You create the cards with fixed amounts or a free amount, and their validity. If you have online payments switched on with Stripe, the client buys one on your page and receives a card with a code to print or share.
Can I sell packages in person, without online payments?+
Yes. You sell them at the counter as you always have and assign them to the client, who receives their code to use when booking.
What happens if the client cancels an appointment paid with a gift card?+
The balance goes back onto the card and they can use it on another booking.
Do packages expire?+
Only if you want them to. When you create the package you choose whether it expires and after how many months. Gift cards have a validity in months that you also decide.
