A week in a psychology practice that uses BoneBook
You see clients in the practice on Mondays and Wednesdays and online the rest of the week, so you have two 50-minute services: "In-person session" and "Online session". On Sunday, someone who found you on Google books their first consultation from your page, without having to call you. They pay for the session by card when booking and, with the confirmation, they receive the informed consent form, which they sign from their phone before coming. On Tuesday, a client cancels their afternoon session from the link in their confirmation; the slot becomes free and the waiting list alerts another client who was looking for a slot that day. You hold online sessions with the video call tool you always use: BoneBook only handles the appointment. After each session, you note what you need in the client's private notes, which only your practice sees, and the evening before, each client gets their reminder.

What is the best appointment software for psychologists?+
It depends on what you need. If you're looking for full clinical records or built-in video calls, you need a different kind of tool. If you want clients to book by themselves, get a reminder and sign the consent form from their phone, BoneBook does that from €29/month including VAT (consent forms included; WhatsApp reminders on Pro, €49/month).
Does BoneBook do video calls for online sessions?+
No. You can create an "Online session" service so the client books that type of appointment, but you hold the video call with the tool you already use and send them the link as you do now.
Who can see my clients' notes?+
Only your practice. The notes in the client record are private: the client doesn't see them. The data belongs to your practice. Even so, BoneBook isn't a clinical records system.
Can I take payment for the session when they book?+
Yes, on every plan. You connect your own Stripe account and choose for each service whether to take the full price, a deposit or nothing, and whether payment is required or optional. The money goes straight to your account. BoneBook doesn't issue invoices: you keep doing those yourself.
Can I sell packages of sessions?+
Yes, on every plan you can create packages of several sessions of a service, with an optional expiry. The client receives a code, uses it when booking and the sessions are deducted automatically.
Do my clients need to create an account?+
No. They book with their name, phone number and email from your link, without signing up or downloading anything, and they can cancel or change the appointment from the link in their confirmation.
